Feeling like life is throwing too many challenges your way?
Feelings are powerful. They can lift us up, hold us back, make us feel unstoppable, or leave us stuck in our own thoughts. This artwork is a reflection of my deepest emotions—Sadness, Happiness, Anxiety, and Fear—the ones that shape my world every day.
Sadness – Sometimes, I feel lonely, especially when I struggle to connect like others do. Growing up, I often watched kids play together, wishing I could be part of it.
Happiness – My favorite emotion! I feel it when I paint, when I’m with my family, when I eat ice cream, and when I get messages from people who believe in me.
Anxiety – I’m an anxious person. I don’t always know what’s going to happen, and that makes me nervous. Not being able to speak makes it even harder, because I can’t always express what’s on my mind. But I try to cope with it. Painting helps me a lot.
Fear – I’ve faced many fears. Doctors once said I wouldn’t do much in life, that I would be "useless." But I’m here. And even though the world can feel big and overwhelming, I know I can keep going.
This painting is a reminder that we all go through these emotions, and that’s okay.

In most cases, when I paint on canvas, I also paint the borders, so it is not necessary to frame the painting. The boards are part of the artwork. To hang it on the wall, you can easily follow a youtube tutorial that teaches in shorts steps how to do it or you can write to info@clarawoods.art and ask for a 20 min videocall with my dad Carlo. He is magic and can guide you!

I’m Clara Woods—an artist, entrepreneur, and game-changer on a mission to inspire. I was born a a stroke in my mom’s womb, which left me unable to speak, read, or write. But that hasn’t stopped me! I understand three languages and found my voice through art. My bold, colorful paintings reflect my resilience, passion, and determination to share my story with the world.
When I was just 12, I held my first exhibition in Florence, Italy. My mom, Betina, believed in my dream, and together we built Clara Woods Collection, turning my passion for art into a thriving business. I became an entrepreneur, showing that creativity and ambition have no limits—no matter your age or abilities. My mom even sold her own successful company to focus on my career, and our bond is at the heart of everything we’ve achieved.
Today, I’ve hosted over 30 exhibitions across three continents, sold more than 800 original artworks, and built an amazing global community of over 1.5 million followers. I was honored to be named an Internet Gamechanger by Forbes and Facebook for the positive impact I’ve made on inclusion and creativity.
