Clara began this canvas with a portrait of Eldina, Clara's sister. But Clara wasn't sure and she canceled Eldina giving birth to Electra. Elettra is not a particular person, but she walks on real stones and on small pistachio shells that Clara has removed and positioned to paint under her.
